Role Objective
We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Officer to join our Automotive division. As an Asset Management Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's automotive assets. This includes acquiring, leasing, maintaining, and disposing of vehicles in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset management strategies and policies for the automotive division.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of automotive assets, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Coordinate the acquisition and leasing of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, working closely with service providers and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of automotive assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
- Coordinate the disposal of vehicles at the end of their lifecycle, maximizing residual value and minimizing environmental impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure effective asset management practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automotive asset management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in asset management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive assets, including acquisition, leasing, maintenance, and disposal processes.
- Proven ability to develop and implement asset management strategies and policies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to automotive asset management.
