What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, HTML/CSS, and React.
- Experience in developing, analyzing, testing, installing, and maintaining a range of software programs and applications.
- Strong understanding of SQL Server.
- Experience in working with Azure integration services like Azure Functions, Azure Login Apps, Azure Event Grid, and Azure Service Bus.
- Experience in working with APIs, including GraphQL and REST services.
- Experience providing L3 support within IT service desk teams.
Nice to Have:
- Tertiary qualification in computing or relevant field or the equivalent level of industry experience.
- Experience in DevOps practices such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation infrastructure as code, microservices and monitoring.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, such as authentication, authorization encryption, and security protocols.
- Good understanding of the ITIL framework and principles.
What will you do?
- Ensuring that applications meet evolving user needs, the role encompasses the entire application lifecycle, including design, development, ongoing maintenance, and improvement in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Development: Owning the application lifecycle from translating business requirements into functional and technical documentation, through development, testing, and ongoing maintenance, while adhering to internal and industry standards.
- DevOps Delivery: Developing tools and processes to enhance customer experience while collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring secure, high-quality application delivery through continuous improvement of DevOps practices.
- Technical Support: Providing application support for IT&S products and services across their lifecycle, encompassing incident management, proactive monitoring, user empowerment through knowledge base creation, and continuous improvement of support processes for optimal service delivery.
- Any other relevant duties as assigned or requested by IT Applications Manager.
