What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a legal setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
- Proficiency in using Clio Practice Management Software.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in legal research techniques and using legal databases.
- Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience supporting C-level executives or senior management.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
What will you do?
- Provide administrative support to one or more attorneys, including managing their calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical legal files, ensuring documents are easily accessible and up to date.
- Conduct legal research and compile relevant information from various sources.
- Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and external parties.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence, prioritizing and responding as appropriate.
- Assist with billing and invoicing as needed, including tracking billable hours and expenses.
- Make travel arrangements and accommodation as needed.
- Manage special projects and tasks as assigned by attorneys or senior staff.
