Schedule: Monday – Friday (08:30 AM - 05:30 PM Pacific Time Zone)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Exceeding attention to detail and accuracy.
What will you do?
- Data entry, including entering transitions into QuickBooks
- Ensure consistency with our monthly close process for clients
- Request the necessary documentation from your supervisor to ensure all accounting information and records are received timely
- Perform cash management activities on a regular interval, including bank and asset reconciliation and cash flow reporting
- Accounts Payable - Enter and audit accounts payable invoices to ensure accuracy and proper classification. Prepare checks for payment as needed.
- Quarterly “clean up” review of the balance sheet accounts, and ensure vendors are classified and recorded correctly and have a W-9 on file (if applicable)
- Accounts Receivable – Record customer deposits
- Full-Service Payroll – Prepare payroll for clients, update timesheets, and process payroll through QuickBooks or other outside payroll companies
- Banking - Bank Reconciliations and Credit Card Reconciliations
- Process payment request information and monitor merchant activity
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for clients
- Prepare journal entries and prepare month-end financial packets for our clients
- Perform general accounting duties as needed
- Perform special client analysis or projects as needed
- Ensure the accounting records are closed each month and the client’s financials are reviewed and sent on the agreed date each month.
- Prepare year-end financial documentation packets
- Perform various bookkeeping tasks as needed
