Level 1 Full Stack and Mobile App Developer

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Level 1 Full Stack & Mobile App Developer who can work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with the team to develop and maintain web and mobile applications. You will contribute to building mobile and web applications from initial requirements through deployment, enhance existing systems, and deliver functional solutions, with guidance and review from senior developers when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with stakeholders and team members to understand requirements and project expectations
• Work collaboratively with other engineers across the stack to deliver assigned features
• Coordinate with graphic designers to implement UI and design elements
• Develop and implement product features with guidance, following best practices for performance and security
• Assist in setting up and maintaining basic CI/CD processes using established standards
• Help maintain and improve existing applications and systems
• Deliver assigned tasks ranging from front-end UI enhancements to back-end feature development
• Research and apply new tools or technologies as needed to support development tasks
• Assist in creating and maintaining databases and server-side functionality
• Ensure applications function correctly across supported web and mobile platforms
• Develop and integrate APIs based on defined specifications
• Deliver clean, maintainable code while working within a Lean/Agile development environment

Qualifications:

We are looking for developers who can pick up technology quickly and are comfortable jumping into various platforms and various code bases. Ideally you will have:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in full stack and/or mobile application development
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in web or mobile development
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React or Vue, and Node.js
• Basic to intermediate experience with Python or PHP
• Experience building custom web applications beyond CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)
• Exposure to Flutter (Dart) or willingness to learn mobile app development
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience collaborating within a development team and following coding standards
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking tools
• Basic exposure to CI/CD concepts and development pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI)
• Understanding of web technologies including HTTP and RESTful APIs
• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus
• Foundational understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with AWS products and infrastructure
• Experience working with Linux/Unix systems
• Experience with Machine Learning
• Proficient in PHP programming language
• Experience with web3 and building solidity smart contracts
• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker

Additional requirements for work from home:

• Quite workspace
• Own equipment including headset
• High Speed wired internet with wireless backup with UPS battery backup for short-term outages
