The Accounting Supervisor, Cash Management is responsible for contributing to the success of the organization by overseeing the work of a team of professionals that supports the organization's cash management activities.
Essential Functions
- Leads and manages a team of accounting professionals, setting goals, managing performance, providing guidance and support, and fostering a positive and productive team culture.
- Oversees corporate enterprise journal activities
- Reviews corporate bank accounts and high profile entries
- Oversees the system of internal controls in related area(s) to identify and minimize risk as well as comply with company policies.
- Works with Internal and External auditors to provide support and explanations for any selections related to areas of responsibility.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Participates in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to areas of responsibility.
- Collaborates with other departments, including but not limited to, corporate accounting, legal, tax, and financial operations, to ensure accurate and timely accounting management.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and analyzing trends.
- Builds and maintains relationships with accounting authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective accounting management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years Accounting or Finance experience
- General Ledger experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Managerial Accountant
- Google Suite experience
- Oracle experience
