Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is a not-for-profit community health system dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of the people of Northeast Georgia. Established in 1951, NGHS has expanded significantly over the years and is now anchored by five main hospital campuses, namely NGMC Gainesville, NGMC Braselton, NGMC Barrow, NGMC Habersham, and NGMC Lumpkin. Collectively, these facilities provide over 950 beds and encompass a large medical staff of more than 1,400 physicians spanning more than 60 specialties.
