We are very focused on understanding and building products to fulfill the diverse set of financial services needs for our customer segments including Retail Institutional and be the primary financial account leveraging Finance 2.0 principles and crypto technology. As part of that journey, a key area of focus is the payments platform which powers all of the payments at Coinbase.

We are looking for goal-oriented, self motivated, Sr. Product Manager who thrives in a fast paced startup environment, comfortable with dealing with ambiguity, is able to think through complex challenges align cross functional teams effectively to launch products. Previous experience in building customer facing products, payments knowledge is definitely a value add for this role. Someone who has a proven track record of building launching payment product solutions, someone who understands the workings of cards banks including ACH networks

What You'll Be Doing:

• Owns multiple areas and/or one large complex area that impacts multiple teams and metrics
• Develops solutions to problems by collaborating and leading across regions, product areas, and functions as needed
• Drive the entire product lifecycle (launches, maintenance, and retirement) in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ruthlessly balance and prioritize across all stakeholder objectives
• Identify and validate new opportunities (user-based, strategic, business, etc).
• Develop multi-year strategies and roadmaps around with high business impact and acumen

What We Look For In You:

• 6+ years of product management experience
• 3 years of experience taking products from conception to launch
• Experience working with, balancing needs, and maintaining strong relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders
• Experience navigating and influencing senior leadership across multiple functions
• Demonstrated ability in working with a high degree of business and technical complexity across a broad product portfolio
• Demonstrated ability to ship a holistic product experience without “shipping the org chart”
• Aptitude for learning and ability to ramp quickly on new and potentially complicated domains
• Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field
• 3 years of experience in software development or engineering
• 1-2 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership
