As an Analytics Director, you will lead a team of skilled analysts, overseeing a diverse portfolio of marketing analytics and technology projects for our esteemed clients. Your expertise will span various domains, including cutting-edge data strategies, user journey analysis, tag implementation, and streamlined data automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and nurture a team of analysts.
- Foster professional growth and skill development among team members.
- Develop and execute robust data strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Leverage data insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Implement and optimise data capture mechanisms, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection.
- Provide expert consultancy on tagging best practices.
- Create and oversee work streams focussed on meaningful reports and dashboards, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Streamline data processes through automation, enhancing efficiency.
- Oversee analytical workstreams, ensuring rigorous analysis and timely delivery of insights.
- CRO and A/B testing experience, test selection, configuration and analysis
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
- Navigate privacy regulations by managing cookie and privacy tools.
- Stay informed and consult on frameworks such as GDPR and also technical frameworks such as Consent Mode v2 developments.
- Collaborate with business development teams to provide analytics expertise during client pitches.
- Contribute to winning new business opportunities.
- Contribute to industry insights through thought-provoking blog posts, webinars, and social media content.
- Position our organisation as a trusted authority in analytics.
- Provide guidance and training to both team members and clients.

Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
- Analytics Background:
- A minimum of 7 years working within analytics and analytics teams.
- 3 years in a managerial role, directly overseeing reports and deliverables.
- Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge of analytics tools, including GA4, Google Tag Manager, Bigquery, and Looker Studio.
- Proven experience with end-to-end implementations of tag management systems and Google Analytics.
- Working with technical teams and subject matter experts to deliver solutions
- Insight Generation:
- Demonstrable ability to extract meaningful insights from platforms like Google Analytics, Search Console & HotJar.
- Skill in crafting actionable recommendations for clients and business stakeholders.
- Ability to audit user journeys from a user experience point of view and make recommendations
- Data Visualisation:
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Adaptability:
- Familiarity with programming languages, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS & SQL.
