We are building an inclusive, human-centred product and are looking for a Director of Analytics & Experimentation to become part of our remote team and our mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships.

You will be responsible for analytics enablement, empowering team members across the company to make data-driven decisions by delivering insightful and actionable analysis, and leading Feeld’s cross-functional experimentation programme at a senior level.

To be right for this role, you should have experience leading analytics teams as well as a deep understanding of how to roll out a successful cross-functional experimentation programme. You should be comfortable working async-remotely, managing team members distributed across multiple time zones.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics and experimentation governance strategy that aligns with the company's objectives.
  • Lead, manage, and coach the analytics and experimentation teams, fostering a positive environment of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making is embedded across the organisation.
  • Lead a culture of experimentation and drive best practices across the organisation. Drive velocity of conclusive experiments with business leaders.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to develop and maintain Feeld’s analytics infrastructure, tools, and systems to support data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to co-define, develop, and maintain Feeld’s Analytics Frameworks, identifying appropriate input and output metrics to measure, and ensure these are governed in code in the data platform.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to drive Feeld’s data content workstream.
  • Ensure we have the right measures of success of our analytical programs and regularly report on progress.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices in analytics and experimentation to improve team capabilities and outcomes continually.
  • Advocate for a data-driven culture within the organisation, providing training and mentorship to staff on analytics and data interpretation.
  • Regular internal communication of interesting and impactful insights.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.

Requirements

About you:

  • Prior leadership experience in analytics for a consumer app or marketplace organisation.
  • Strong opinions, loosely held on analytics and experimentation best practises.
  • Strong expertise in statistics, A/B testing, data storytelling, and visualisation.
  • Proficient in analytics and data visualisation tools.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, high autonomy, and ownership.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. You are a translator, able to converse with business stakeholders and technical members of the Data Circle.
  • Experience with data governance and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with Data Engineering teams and the ‘Modern Data Stack’
  • You are a strategic systems thinker who understands the impact of data beyond creating reports.
  • You understand the human side of data and can operate ethically within the data space.
  • You are comfortable with change and ambiguity and are able to prioritise effectively in these environments.
  • You are proactive and entrepreneurial, looking for opportunities to further data’s impact on the organisation.
  • You have experience with common data tools such as Amplitude, Snowflake, dbt.
  • You appreciate the value of reproducible analysis and written documentation.

  • You have experience in async-remote environments.

That is why we offer:

  • At Feeld we believe all humans deserve to make a competitive wage. That's why we offer a Baseline Freedom Salary of £60,000 GBP per year.
  • The total cash compensation for this role is determined by Level and Step, as well as geographic location, but we estimate that this role can earn between £125,000 GBP - £155,000 GBP based on the requirements listed in this job description.

Our interview process:

  • Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask - and receive answers - regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
  • Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
  • The next step for most of our roles is a candidate challenge. This is an evaluation of the skills relevant to be successful in this role and generally takes about an hour to complete.
  • Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld.
  • We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation.
