Compensation: $110,000 to $150,000 per year

CodePath is at a pivotal moment, launching a 5-year strategic plan to exponentially grow our impact from 20,000 to 100,000 students served annually. To drive this ambitious vision, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Partnership Manager, University Partnerships.

This role is critical to scaling CodePath's mission. You will not only oversee the entire partner engagement lifecycle – from onboarding and program integration to deep relationship expansion and renewals – but also aid in shaping our long-term university partnership strategy. You will be instrumental in cultivating profound institutional trust, empowering campus champions, and ensuring seamless, impactful program delivery that is truly transformative for students.

Success in this role demands a blend of strategic foresight, exceptional leadership, and a proven ability to translate complex institutional priorities into scalable, actionable solutions. You'll deliver unparalleled partner experiences and compellingly quantify CodePath's value through robust student outcomes and data-driven storytelling.

Key Activities

Strategic Leadership Planning

• Own and execute a university partnership strategy that directly supports CodePath’s 5-year student growth targets, increasing institutional integration and renewal rates YoY

• Anticipate and proactively respond to evolving higher education and tech workforce trends, shaping forward-looking initiatives that position CodePath as a thought leader and essential partner

• Utilizing knowledge gained from partnership engagements inform the conceptualization and new strategic initiatives, programs, or partnership expansions per year, driving innovation and substantial impact

• Mentor and guide junior team members, with a focus on developing their strategic thinking, expanding partner ownership capacity, and improving cross-functional execution

Relationship Management Growth

• Cultivate and sustain deeply trusted, strategic relationships with senior university stakeholders, including deans, provosts, and key administrative leaders, beyond day-to-day operations

• Conduct in-depth strategic listening tours across assigned university partners to identify systemic needs, high-leverage opportunities, and areas for profound, long-term collaboration

• Own and execute a university partnership strategy that directly supports CodePath's 5-year student growth targets, increasing institutional integration and renewal rates YoY

• Facilitate executive-level touchpoints, strategic check-ins, and comprehensive partnership reviews, ensuring complete alignment and shared success at the highest levels

Program Integration Optimization

• Strategically collaborate with university leadership and academic departments to embed CodePath offerings deeply into academic curricula, student success frameworks, and career development initiatives, exploring credit-bearing and institutionalized pathways

• Oversee and optimize the full lifecycle of program adoption, launch, and ongoing delivery, ensuring scalability and adherence to CodePath's high-quality standards

• Proactively analyze program performance data and partner feedback, identifying systemic challenges and leading the implementation of enhancements that drive superior student outcomes and partner value

Data-Driven Impact Reporting

• Establish and maintain robust data governance for partner communications, agreements, and sophisticated impact metrics

• Design and manage dynamic dashboards and data structures that provide insightful, real-time visibility into student engagement, outcomes, and the overarching value proposition of each partnership

• Prepare strategic reports and presentations for CodePath's executive leadership, outlining partnership health, identifying systemic risks, and proposing innovative growth opportunities

Key Success Metrics

• Consistently achieve 90%+ partner satisfaction scores, reflecting deep institutional trust and collaborative success

• Drive significant year-over-year increases in student participation and engagement, aiming for greater than 5% CodePath CS Student penetration YoY within partner institutions

• Lead the expansion of CodePath programming into new departments, cohorts, or services at partner universities, demonstrating sustained growth and integration

• Deliver clear, compelling, and data-driven narratives articulating CodePath's transformative value to each partner every semester, leading to a greater than 90% program persistence rate

• Maintain exceptionally high partner retention and renewal rates of over 90%, indicating enduring relationships and value

• Proactively identify and secure at least one major new strategic initiative, program, or partnership expansion per year, based on comprehensive partner needs assessment and market analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in senior account management, strategic customer success, or high-level partnership roles, with a proven track record of managing complex relationships, ideally within the higher education sector

• Deep and nuanced understanding of higher education ecosystems, including intricate institutional structures, multi-layered decision-making processes, academic governance, and campus dynamics

• Exceptional strategic relationship-building capabilities, with a demonstrated history of engaging authentically, persuasively, and at an executive level with diverse university stakeholders

• Superior project management and organizational leadership skills, with an acute attention to detail and a highly strategic approach to execution across multiple initiatives

• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, persuasive strategic narratives and actionable insights for both internal and external audiences

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of influencing and negotiating at all levels

• Profound passion for CodePath’s mission to diversify and strengthen the tech workforce, coupled with a commitment to educational equity and student success

Compensation

CodePath has standardized salaries based on the position’s level, no matter where you live. For this role, we’re hiring for a Senior Manager level position at an annual salary of $110,000 to $150,000. Salary is determined based on your relevant experience and skills as evaluated through our interview process.
