About You
As the Third-party Operations Manager you’ll be joining the Technology Governance team, within the technology organisation. Reporting to the Head of Technology Governance, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.
You will be working exclusively with a fast-paced Fintech organisation who are looking to hire a driven and ambitious Third-party Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, as they continue on their journey of transformation and change. This role will work closely with Head of Technology Governance, the central Procurement & Third-Party Operations team to support the engineering teams to ensure the department manages third-parties effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of the overall third parties within the technology organisation. You will drive supplier performance and maximise cost effectiveness.
Must be a clear and confident communicator with proven experience of managing multiple projects/stakeholders simultaneously. Third-Party management experience in a Financial Services and technology environment is a must.
Generalist experience of contributing towards the evolution of a procurement function, including introducing ways-of-working, process design, operational efficiency and supplier risk management are also preferred.

As the Third-party Operations Manager you will be
- A motivated, driven, self-starter with a keen eye for detail.
- Passionate about third parties, and an advocate for procurement and service management
- A collaborator and influencer, yet someone who is adept at working remotely with minimal supervision.
- Experienced in all aspects of the procurement and supplier management lifecycle
- Preferably MCIPS Qualified (or equivalent),
Requirements
We are looking for exceptional talent with a demonstrable track record of success. Someone that is comfortable both working alone and in collaboration with a large engineering team as well as partnering with a small, centralised Procurement and Third Party Operations team and a wide array of stakeholders.
- You will be a generalist, with experience across Supplier Management, Procurement and Third-Party Operations, and be equally comfortable in each domain.
- You will have had experience of Procurement Operations processes and can confidently deal with a number of competing priorities within a complex and challenging environment.
- You are adept in MI management, Procurement and Third-Party reporting & analysis, and are comfortable in working with senior managers
- You have experience in using Third-Party Management systems.
- You have experience in implementing Procurement and Third-Party Policies and Procedures.
- You will have deep experience of working within technology or business functions of businesses, building and embedding ways-of-working for Procurement and Third -Party Operations processes
- You will have experience of Procurement function’s ways-of-working, process design, operational efficiency and supplier risk management
- You will have robust influencing and relationship management skills to create strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
