About you

You’ll be joining the Power Platform team as a Power Platform Engineer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.

As a knowledgeable Power Platform Engineer you will help provide an exceptional experience to our internal users and external clients. You will need to have a minimum of two years’ experience across multiple products of Microsoft’s Power Platform.

The Power Platform is an emerging platform at ClearBank. ClearBank uses all the products in the Power Platform: primarily Power Automate flows, model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Virtual Agents (Copilots), Power BI and Power Pages, plus we’re using AI for our case management processes. ClearBank is driving all case management processes through Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE. We have a huge push to automate our manual processes to allow our userbase to focus on important tasks. 

This is not a standard Power Platform Engineer role. You do not need to come from a purely technical background; your colleagues have been gym managers, customer service agents and baristas. You need to be logical, like solving problems with the Power Platform, and enjoy helping people. You have the opportunity to shape the achievement of the Power Platform by leading ClearBank to the best possible solution. We want all business units to gain the greatest value from the Power Platform, especially allowing them to self-serve.

This role is vital to the success of the Power Platform being utilised in ClearBank. There is lots to do, and plenty of opportunity.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching others at a 1-2-1 and group level, as we promote citizen development and want all our colleagues to use the Power Platform.
  • Built Power Automate cloud flows at a company or department level.
  • Experience of building model-driven apps or canvas apps

Plus, you should have one or more of the following:

  • Have knowledge of platform governance, such as data loss prevention (DLP), environment management and security, in order to keep our platform secure.
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management, such as solutions, to allow us to release our changes quickly and securely.
  • Use of Copilot Studio, as this is becoming more popular in ClearBank.
  • Practical experience of AI, as we are using AI within our team.
  • Experience of building Power Automate Desktop (RPA) Flows, as we use this extensively to automate manual processes.
