THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION

The Central Quoting Pricing Specialist (known internally as the Technical Services Pricing Specialist) is primarily responsible for analyzing Clean Pack and TPM opportunities to estimate how much time, revenue, and labor a project needs to develop accurate quotes. Clean Pack and T&D opportunities are submitted by Safety-Kleen and Clean Harbors personnel. The Specialist will work with the TPM Opportunity Group, Inside Sales, Clean Harbors Sales Force, and Regional Operations to develop timely, accurate, and competitive quotes while maintaining high margins.

  • Analyze Clean Pack and TPM opportunities to estimate how much time, revenue, and labor a project needs.
  • Complete all CleanPack and T/D Quotes from sales personnel within 72 hours.
  • Maintain high margins and win ratio through fast response and accurate quotes.
  • Work with Pricing Managers to establish off schedule T/D rates. Work with local TS offices to establish LEM rates and availability.
  • Work with Sales Personnel to understand the customer's needs, format required, and any special needs that may need to be addressed in the pricing.
  • Participate in pricing and execution plans for CleanPack and T&D opportunities to ensure that revenue and profitability will be maximized. Develop work order information for jobs quoted and clearly communicate job needs to the CleanPack or Logistics Coordinator.
  • Speak regularly with SK group to address issues or complaints and maintain satisfactory intercompany relations.
  • Meet or exceed established revenue goals for the TPM and T/D business and assist business units with net income objectives.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of lab pack, logistics, CP specialist or sales experience required.
  • 3+ years of industry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of environmental statutes and regulations, business development, revenue enhancement and market penetration required.
  • Negotiating skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills.
  • Working understanding of operations.
  • Customer Service orientated.
