Job Summary:

As a Quoting Specialist, you will be responsible for submitting timely and accurate quoting activity in support of TLS programs.

Key Deliverables and Responsibility:

  • Responsible for the full quote cycle between suppliers and agency of submitting requests, entering responses, submitting pricing files and processing award notifications.
  • Correspond and inquire on status of pending quotes with vendors to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Update and maintain accurate vendor records.
  • Respond with urgency to agency officials for pricing assistance or related requests.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced administrative setting. Experience in procurement or quoting environment, preferred. May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to engage in and exchange communication with others in all situations.
  • Highly meticulous and organized with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously with different requirements, adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail is needed. Ability to review multiple orders and identify inconsistencies or incorrect data.
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
