What is Clarity?
Our mission at Clarity is to:
- Be a trusted guide that helps millions of families to discover, plan for and access the best educational opportunities for their children.
- Help schools to adapt and operate like the dynamic businesses they must be in order to survive and best serve the families of the future.

The first step in fulfilling this mission is our transformative financial aid application, which launched in 2022 and has already grown to over 700 private K-12 schools and 100,000 family users. Building on this momentum, we have started building a second product, which will launch in 2024 and are uniquely positioned to solve a variety of problems for both schools and families.
What you'll do at Clarity
- Lead development for some of our most important projects, from pixels to database.
- Plan projects collaboratively, communicate progress proactively, and continuously seek ways to create the most value for Clarity’s customers.
- Build data models, APIs, and services with Django GraphQL.
- Create intuitive, reusable, and accessible user experiences with React (Typescript).
- Establish and promote high standards for software quality, testing, and architecture.
- Manage and monitor the health of Clarity’s systems and infrastructure.
- Mentor and support your team as a technical leader, enhancing their skills and development.
- Represent Clarity’s engineering perspective and philosophy both internally and externally.
- Drive meaningful changes across products, standards, and teams, enhancing overall velocity and impact.
