Brandwatch is looking for a new member for the Engage team. You will be part of a cross-functional and autonomous product team responsible for the delivery of solutions that allow users to manage and interact with their communities on social media networks. While the Engage product is a mature part of the suite of Brandwatch products, we nevertheless have ambitious targets to continue delivering innovative and impactful features for our customers.
As a Frontend Engineer in Brandwatch, you will be responsible for developing high-quality code that can improve current solutions or provide new functionality to our customers. You will be part of the entire project journey through discovery and delivery.
In this role, you will:
- Improve and maintain the frontend for the Engage product.
- Focus on how your work impacts our customers and champion doing the right thing for them.
- Deliver well-tested and scalable solutions.
- Contribute ideas and give feedback to your teammates.
- Uphold and promote a high-quality standard in the frontend.
We are looking for people with:
- A good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and web application ecosystem.
- Knowledge of any common web framework (such as Angular) and libraries.
- Experience with state management (such as Redux).
- Experience with micro frontend and mono repo setups (such as Nx).
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing (such as Jest and Testcafe).
- A desire to master the craft of software engineering and stay up-to-date with technology trends in web development.
- Familiarity with and a desire to work in an agile environment.
- Excellent skills in communication and teamwork.
- Good fluency in English.
- Experience with composing technical documentation.
- Bonus: Some experience working with backend solutions.
