At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Software Developer (Python/AWS) to join our team in Colombia. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview:
As a Mid-Level Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cloud-based applications using Python and AWS technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs while embracing the principles of Collaboration, Innovation, and Transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy software applications using Python and AWS services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
- Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability in AWS environments.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Implement unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application issues to provide optimal user experiences.
- Document technical processes and contribute to best practices in software development.
Must-have Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, with a focus on writing, maintaining, and optimizing code for cloud-based applications.
- Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks (e.g., unittest, pytest) to ensure reliable code.
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and cloud architecture best practices.
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining Python applications on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Ability to write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and operational tasks in AWS.
- Understanding of Kubernetes for deploying and scaling Python services.
