Job Description

You'll be responsible for FMS Cyber Security patching implementation and support of AVEVA (Wonderware) System platform/SQL Server based factory management and control systems (FMS) within CHEP’s plants

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Configure and develop AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform, InTouch, and MS SQL Server solutions to enhance factory management and control systems.
  • Implement and maintain FMS cybersecurity patching strategies, ensuring system security and compliance.
  • Work closely with FMS and IT teams to identify business challenges, propose solutions, and implement technical and non-technical improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business entities and the engineering organization to deliver value-driven systems and services.
  • Enforce FMS standards with equipment vendors to enable rapid implementations and consistent operational performance.
  • Provide support for FMS operations during regular hours and as needed, including off-hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Conduct regular system evaluations and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and security of FMS systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to FMS systems and processes.

Problem Solving:

  • Requires working weekends during project patching cycle/implementation.
  • Requires working across time zones and cultures and flexibility to attend meetings outside of normal daytime working hours due to global nature of the team.
  • Provides remote support for FMS (24x7) during off-hours, weekends and holidays as required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated project experience developing and implementing AVEVA (Wonderware) System platform 2020.
  • Competent in use of AVEVA/Wonderware system platform troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with being on call and remote support
  • Experience using SQL Server 2017 databases, stored procedures, SQL Reporting Services, and .NET.
  • Understanding of Rockwell PLCs (SLC 500, Micrologix, Compactlogix, Control Logix).

Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are an essential element of this position.
  • Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work successfully and autonomously in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
  • Knowledge and operation of server and PC hardware and associated operating system software, specifically Windows Server 2019.
  • Knowledge of basic production manufacturing metrics such as Process Reliability.
  • Understanding of Rockwell PLCs programming.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in customer support roles with direct client interaction.
