The Technical Writer - Utility Programs supports the development, maintenance, and governance of technical and procedural documentation for regulated utility programs. The role plays a key part in ensuring program documentation is accurate, consistent, auditable, and aligned with client standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 4–7 years of professional technical writing experience
- Experience developing documentation for regulated, technical, or operational environments
- Strong written communication, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and processes
- Experience working with document management systems and version control
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple documentation tasks and deadlines
