The Role:

Visionary Leader for Revenue Transformation - Salesforce-CPQ/Billing/RevCloud

At the intersection of technical expertise and strategic vision, we're seeking a pioneering leader to champion our journey through the evolving landscape of revenue management. As we transition from traditional billing systems to Salesforce's cutting-edge Revenue Lifecycle Management platform, you'll be the accountable owner of our digital revenue transformation, orchestrating the seamless integration of Quote-to-Cash solutions that will define our financial future.

Reporting to our Sr Director of Salesforce Applications, you'll leverage your deep Salesforce CPQand Billing mastery to guide a high-performing technical team while serving as the strategic bridge between Sales, Finance, and Customer Success functions, transforming complex business requirements into elegant, scalable solutions that drive accountability and operational excellence across our entire revenue ecosystem.

We are seeking an experienced engineering leader of Salesforce CPQ & Billing (aka Revenue Lifecycle Management), to lead our team in implementing and managing Quote-to-Cash solutions. The ideal person will have extensive expertise in Salesforce, with a strong focus on CPQ and Billing implementations and transition to Revenue Life cycle Management (RLM) solution.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team of Salesforce CPQ and Billing developers focused on delivering mission-critical business capabilities
  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the team
  • Oversee contract resources to augment internal capabilities as needed, ensuring delivery is aligned with business priorities

Solution Ownership & Delivery

  • Serve as the accountable owner for the successful delivery and transition from legacy quoting application to Revenue Life Cycle Management (RLM) solution
  • Partner with enterprise architecture, product management, and engineering to design and deploy scalable, compliant, and extensible solutions aligned with enterprise standard
  • Champion delivery excellence by collaborating with PMO team ensuring projects meet timeline, budget, and quality expectations
  • Ensuring billing accuracy and salesforce billing is a source of truth for revenue reporting

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM platform particularly CPQ & Billing and transition to Revenue Life cycle Management (RLM) features
  • Expertise in contract management, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition principles
  • Act as the functional expertise on Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM), CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management), and subscription billing frameworks
  • Translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable solutions that enhance Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and Order-to-Revenue (O2R) efficiency
  • Follow the 'One' principle to design and guide the team in leveraging out-of-the-box (OOB) features and low/no-code methodologies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Customer Success teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions using the Salesforce platform
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, ensure alignment, and provide transparent communication throughout project lifecycles

Platform Optimization & Innovation

  • Lead ongoing platform optimization in reducing tech debt, including new feature rollouts, adoption, and roadmap planning
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance processes using Salesforce capabilities
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies to recommend innovations and improvements

Required Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, including at least 5+ years focused on CPQ and Billing implementations
  • Proven experience leading to the implementation of Salesforce Billing and managing complex subscription billing models
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Billing and transition to Revenue Life Cycle Management and Contract Life Cycle Management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing technical teams

Salary Range: $175,000 - $220,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
