Job Purpose and Impact

The People Analytics Senior Consultant is responsible for leveraging data to assist the organization with insights and decisions regarding human capital. This position is responsible for delivering data, both real-time as well as forecasted data, through various products (such as workforce analytics, scorecards, dashboards, or reports) that will assist with understanding workforce trends, workforce planning, and driving business outcomes through HR programs. The position is also responsible for finding compelling insights within data and translating those insights into action.

The People Analytics Senior Consultant is responsible for partnering with their stakeholder group to gain a better understanding of the business, key HR priorities, and current challenges. The position should understand key issues and make recommendations using data for the development, design, and roll out of programs and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned enterprise / function / HR COE and provide HR services to extract insights from data and leverage those insights to strategically drive results with the goal of increasing teammate satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct scenario planning and analysis to identify the return and impact of specific initiatives.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to deliver data driven decision making while providing insights and guidance on how to best utilize flagship people analytics tools and drive innovation to recommend analytics providing new ideas and strategies.
  • Interpret data and research results, develop meaningful narratives, powerful visualizations, infographics and interactive dashboards to explain findings and drive action.
  • Leads and actively participates on project teams in the development and implementation of comprehensive data programs and change initiatives.
  • Partner and collaborate with product development teams and other related teams that build reporting and analytics products.
  • Provides advice and consultation to leaders regarding complex issues for assigned enterprise / function / HR COE. Conducts and participates in surveys, prepares internal analyses, develops statistical compilations, cost analyses, internal surveys, and prepares queries.
  • Build capability and coach team members throughout the organization to identify powerful questions, data required to answer the question and development of a process for collecting the required data and research methods.
  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned enterprise / function / HR COE and partner with the People Data & Analytics (PDA) domain experts to establish and enhance flagship data products.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Make sense of complex, high-quantity, and sometimes contradictory, information to effectively solve problems.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
  • Human resources experience
  • Experience leveraging enterprise HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors, Workday, or Oracle

Additional Position Information

The preferred location of this position is Wayzata, MN. A remote opportunity may be considered in the US. Location subject to compliance check and approval.

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
