The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Inventory Planner to join our dynamic Supply Chain team; this role will report to our Senior Director, Supply Chain. As our Senior Inventory Planner, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between production, inventory allocation, and distribution. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and maximizing efficiency. You'll analyze sales and inventory across multiple channels to uncover insights that guide the rest of the team and ensure that we have the products our customers want, when they want them. Who You Are:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply planning in a consumer products company, with deep expertise in production capacity, inventory allocation, variant-level analysis, and planning optimization across multiple sales and distribution channels. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are essential, along with a commitment to automation and scalable processes. The ideal candidate is self-driven, inquisitive, and a clear and proactive communicator across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage supply and inventory planning processes including production capacity planning, inventory allocation and management, and distribution planning through ecomm, Amazon FBA and wholesale channels
• Analyze and surface trends and planning performance around sales, inventory, and channel data to uncover insights that guide procurement and inventory decisions
• Assess and track production & inventory allocation lead times for optimized planning on demand and supply forecasting
• Continuously improve our inventory positions by evaluating our restocking points, supplier options, and work with Logistics and Fulfillment to find optimizations
• Proactively identify gaps or roadblocks that may impact our inventory position, and work with key stakeholders to resolve
• Define, track, and publish weekly and monthly metrics on inventory health, risk of inventory obsolescence, and suggested actions
• Build a process to proactively work with sales and marketing teams to move through excess inventory
• Analyze sales results and variances to plan on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
• Build close relationships with our vendors and consistently review open orders to proactively identify and mitigate future issues before they manifest

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• 5+ years in purchasing, forecasting, or inventory management in a consumer products company
• 4+ years in inventory or supply planning at an ecommerce, retail, and wholesale brand, with experience in Amazon FBA a plus
• Strong experience with IMS platforms, ERPs, and other inventory planning tools
• Superb Excel skills with the ability to adapt to new systems
• Willing to roll up sleeves; no job is too small attitude
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scenarios to stakeholders through oral and written means
• Experience with Anvyl and Fulfil.io preferred, as well as project management tools such as Asana, Notion, Monday.com a plus
• Bachelors in Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management or similar field preferred

The anticipated base salary range for this role ​is $90,000 - $110,000 - Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors determining the base pay at offer, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
