Capgemini is seeking a skilled and experienced Capital Modeling Senior Manager to join our team and work with a top ten US insurance carrier.

As a Capital Modeling Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of capital models, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insights to senior management.

Location: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico.

The Capital Modeling Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk Management, Actuarial, and Finance to develop and maintain robust capital models. You will play a key role in enhancing model capabilities, conducting model validation, and implementing best practices. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of sophisticated capital models to measure and manage risk.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Solvency II and NAIC capital requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for modeling purposes.
  • Perform model validation and ensure models are accurate and reliable.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in capital modeling.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively to drive alignment.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in capital modeling within the insurance industry.
  • Experience with Solvency II, NAIC capital requirements, and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical modeling tools, such as R or Python.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Professional certifications such as FSA, CERA, or FRM are preferred.
