What The Role is:
Review BSA/AML reportable situations related to the monitoring of Cadence customers and their transactions which were escalated by the First level Analyst. This position is remote.
How You will Make an Impact:
- Senior Analyst conducts a secondary review for CTR, as well as Monetary Instrument log to ensure the first level Analyst completed all reportable transactions and is being reported within the 15 day reporting cycle.
- Helps First Analyst in answering questions and escalates issues when needed.
- Monitor cash purchases of Monetary Instruments and maintain the Monetary Instrument Log when purchases meet the recordkeeping requirements.
- Conducts all Follow-Up SAR Cases to ensure quality and consistent review.
- AML Review Monitors Customer and Non-Customer Activity perform
- Research and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports as needed when Suspicious Activity is continued for but not limited to the following activity types ACH Transactions, Wire, Monetary Instrument Purchases, ATM Activity, and Cash Transactions using the AML Program Patriot Officer.
- Conducts a secondary approval process which ensures quality and consistent SAR cases. Approval process includes a decision process which escalates SAR Cases for discussion to change First Level Analyst SAR Decision.
Who You are:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bank Secrecy Act knowledge and experience.
- General banking knowledge.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Google Apps.
- This position requires tactfulness and needs to be able to adapt to change, work in a fast paced environment and be a team player.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Works cooperatively with others.
Remote within Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.
