Job Description:
Start your next chapter as a Social Media Specialist in the dynamic world of hospitality and dining. In this role, you’ll support the digital presence of hotels and restaurants by posting pre-created content to both the feed and stories across client accounts. You’ll also help organize and manage content calendars to keep messaging consistent, timely, and engaging. Responsibilities:
- Post pre-created content (photos, videos, graphics) to Instagram and Facebook feeds and stories across multiple client accounts.
- Create and manage weekly and monthly social media content calendars for each account.
- Add simple text overlays to photos and videos when needed, ensuring alignment with brand style and messaging.
- Write engaging, brand-aligned captions for scheduled posts.
- Monitor social media engagement and flag opportunities for community interaction.
- Stay up to date with social media platform updates, trends, and best practices, especially within hospitality and dining sectors.
- Collaborate with internal creative and account teams to maintain cohesive brand communication across platforms.
- Provide basic reporting and insights on post performance and engagement trends.
Requirements
- Prior experience managing Instagram and Facebook accounts for businesses, preferably in hospitality, dining, or lifestyle industries (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
- Comfortable using basic design tools to add text to images or videos as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with experience building and maintaining content calendars.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across different brands.
- Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook scheduling tools.
- Ability to interpret basic social media analytics and translate data into actionable insights for improvement.
- Ability to work full-time with a flexible schedule, including required social media postings on weekends.
- Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple accounts and posting schedules independently.
- A positive, proactive attitude and genuine interest in the hospitality and dining space.
