A high-growth digital marketing agency is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to lead outbound sales efforts targeting veterinary clinics across the United States. This is a full-cycle sales role — from initial outreach to closing deals. You'll be promoting in-demand SEO and digital marketing solutions designed to boost clinic visibility, increase appointments, and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold Outreach: Make daily outbound calls to veterinary practices, focusing on optimal call windows to maximize response.
- Follow-Up Engagement: Promptly follow up on cold email campaigns and inbound interest.
- Meeting Scheduling: Coordinate, confirm, and prepare for prospect meetings via phone or Zoom.
- CRM Maintenance: Log all sales activity accurately in Pipedrive to ensure a clean and up-to-date sales pipeline.
- Product Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of SEO, paid advertising, website optimization, and social media services tailored for veterinary practices.
- Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales process — from first contact to signed agreement.
- Pipeline Reporting: Provide weekly updates on sales pipeline health, activity, and closed deals.
- Tech Tools: Use platforms like Call Hippo for calling/tracking and Lemlist for follow-ups and nurturing.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years in outbound sales, ideally in:
SEO or digital marketing services
SaaS or technology solutions
Veterinary or healthcare-specific offerings (highly preferred)
Industry Insight: Experience selling into veterinary clinics or medical practices is a strong advantage.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Organization: Skilled at managing a high volume of leads and deals without losing momentum.
Cold Calling Confidence: Comfortable initiating conversations, overcoming objections, and securing meetings.
Self-Motivated: Proactively seeks out new business opportunities without needing constant direction.
Closing Expertise: Capable of moving prospects through the pipeline and consistently closing deals.
