Role Name: Bookkeeper

Schedule:

• 40 hours/week, Flexible Schedule: Flexible with 40 hours of production. Minimum 3 days with 2 hour overlap of Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM New York time.

• Client Timezone: US Eastern Time (EST)

Scope:

• 40 hours per week

• Remote work from home office

• Flexible schedule with approximately 2 hours overlap with US Eastern Time every other day

• Direct reporting to US-based management team

• Handle bookkeeping for portion of firm's 75 active clients

• Monthly performance reviews and bonus structure

Responsibilities:

• Process and enter bank statement data for multiple client accounts

• Perform regular bookkeeping tasks for approximately 75 active clients

• Maintain accurate financial records within the company's virtual desktop environment

• Work within established security protocols to handle sensitive financial information

• Coordinate with the IT team for system access and technical requirements

• Manage daily bookkeeping operations according to US accounting standards

• Document and track financial transactions for multiple client accounts
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with US-based companies in bookkeeping roles

• Strong understanding of US bookkeeping practices and procedures

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

• Proficiency in remote work tools and virtual desktop environments

• Strong English communication skills

• Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication

• Experience with standard accounting software platforms
