Broadridge is Growing! We are seeking a Project Manager to join a stellar team on contract basis in remote capacity. As a Project Manager within our Software Engineering Team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the transition of work and infrastructure from one of our print locations while ensuring seamless collaboration and communication across various IT and engineering teams. You will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of this project that will drive operational efficiency and technological advancement.
Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Oversee the closure of a print location, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and effective integration of processes into existing workflows.
Collaboration: Work closely with multiple IT teams, including software engineering, site reliability engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps, to identify and address dependencies with infrastructure moves aligned to software engineering tasks.
Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication across all teams involved, facilitating meetings and status updates as required.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to the transition and devise mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with various stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate efforts across teams to ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely completion of deliverables.
Performance Monitoring: Track project progress and key performance indicators, adjusting project plans as necessary to meet objectives.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting notes including forecasting of hours and time reporting if IT billable resources.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or related certification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably within a software engineering environment.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development processes, IT infrastructure, and site reliability engineering.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
Tools: Strong Jira knowledge preferred.
Hourly range $60-70/hr
