Your mission

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our talented team of engineers and drive technical innovation at Bisly. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers.

Your profile

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the engineering team, aligning technical initiatives with Bisly's overall goals and objectives.
• Build and manage a high-performing engineering team, including recruiting, hiring, mentoring & performance management, and professional development.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of engineering efforts.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends, and assess their potential impact on Bisly's products and services.
• Identify and address technical challenges and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the engineering team, promoting excellence and innovation.
• Lead the planning activities from product definition to roadmap to execution plan, ensure needed resources are available for timely execution.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, with 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Technical knowledge in React, React Native, NodeJS, Rust and C++.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute on multiple initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and departments.
• Passion for technology and innovation, with a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and developments.
