As a Staff Product Designer focusing on Partner Experience, you will be instrumental in evolving our UX framework and design approach, specifically tailored to enhance the engagement and journey of our partners (Fortune 500 companies) who use BetterUp to coach and transform their workforce. This role is pivotal in leveraging design to empower organizational transformation through data visualization and compelling storytelling that informs decision-making processes.

Effectively applies empathy and context awareness of the problem at different zoom levels: the user level, business strategy, technical infrastructure, and organizational structure.
  • Execute the process of planning, navigating trade-offs, and creating meaningful user experiences — inspiring and ensuring that the products we build are designed to create impact.
  • Showcase exceptional stakeholder management skills, ensuring proactive communication across the organization. Translate diverse feedback into accountable actions that drive forward our mission.
  • Expertly align customer needs with business objectives, maintaining a company-first and team-first approach. Your ability to connect the dots is essential for strategic direction and impactful outcomes.
  • Make smart and decisive decisions and be comfortable and self-driven through ambiguity and uncertainty in an ever changing macroeconomy.
  • Occasionally step into product management roles, strategizing on product direction, understanding user mental models, and extending your influence beyond traditional design responsibilities to exhibit ownership and proactive problem-solving.

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • You have 9+ years of experience leading and/or operating as an individual contributing designer.
  • Bonus if you’re familiar with multi-sided marketplace experiences, service design or enjoy designing experiences beyond the screen.

  • Naturally curious and want to push boundaries of what's possible
  • Methodical with strong attention to detail
  • Self-directed and biased towards action

  • Experience communicating and demonstrating prototypes in various states of polish to coworkers and stakeholders using a variety of tools (Figma, Framer, etc)
  • Experience leading the end-to-end design process and/or agile sprints.
  • You have a track record of getting others to participate in, and contribute to, the design process.
