At Better Origin, our mission is to fix the broken food chain by converting waste into high-value insect products. Food waste accounts for around 8% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, and we believe that by harnessing the remarkable potential of black soldier fly larvae, we can create a sustainable and efficient solution. These larvae consume food waste and grow into nutrient-rich insect products that can be used for animal feed. This innovative process allows us to address not only food waste but also the need for sustainable protein sources, as insects require significantly less land and resources compared to traditional animal feeds.
