The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Virtual Marketing Assistant to join our virtual staffing company. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work remotely and support our clients with various marketing tasks, with a focus on Shopify management, conversion rate optimization, AB testing, website optimization, SKU conversion analysis, and SEO strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Shopify Expertise: Serve as a Shopify expert, assisting clients with product listings, updates, and optimizations to enhance user experience and drive sales conversions.
- Regular Cadence in Conversion Rate Optimization: Develop and maintain a regular cadence in analyzing, testing, and optimizing conversion rates across various marketing channels and platforms.
- AB Testing Skills: Design and execute AB tests to evaluate different marketing strategies, messaging, and website elements. Utilize Klaviyo for SMS and email campaigns to conduct AB testing and optimize campaign performance.
- Website Optimization: Collaborate with clients to optimize website performance, including page speed, navigation, and mobile responsiveness, to improve user experience and increase conversions.
- Conversion per SKU Analysis: Analyze conversion rates per SKU to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop strategies to optimize product performance and drive sales.
- SEO Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research, meta tags optimization, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies. Develop and implement SEO plans to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic to client websites.
- Laser Focus on Conversion Rate Optimization: Demonstrate a strong focus on conversion rate optimization, with proven experience and results. During the pairing session, be prepared to showcase successful conversion rate optimization strategies and outcomes.
- Experience in Meta Tags and SEO: Have a thorough understanding and hands-on experience with meta tags optimization and SEO best practices. Present concrete plans for SEO improvements and demonstrate proficiency in AB testing using Klaviyo for SMS and email campaigns.
- Evidence of Success: Provide evidence of previous experience and success rates in driving conversions, optimizing websites, and implementing marketing strategies. Be ready to discuss achievements and outcomes during the pairing session.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or related field.
- Proficiency in Shopify platform management and website analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong understanding of the Virtual Staffing landscape and client needs
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
- Self-driven and proactive, accountability and personal organization are essential
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and cross-functional environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with different tools and cloud-based platforms such as MS Office, Hubspot, Zoom, Google Suite, and common CRM systems
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Proficient in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Opus, Chat GPT, and Notion.
- Strong creative and design skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

- A stable and high-speed internet connection preferably 25 MBPS or higher with back up in cases of power interruption or service provider issues
- Own PC/laptop with 8GB RAM, and a processor of Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or higher; Windows 10 or above / Catalina 10.15 or newer; with up-to-date web browsers and security software, 500GB/128 SSD storage
- Headset/earphone with noise cancellation and webcam at 720p or higher resolution
- A designated, quiet, and well-organized workspace free from distractions to facilitate focused work
