Our team is charged with maintaining and improving the software at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that supports the Hospital Quality Reporting program. Thousands of hospitals across the country depend on these systems to submit quality measure data that reflects the care beneficiaries receive in their facility. Our teams will continuously strive to modernize these systems, while improving them in ways that reduce provider burden and minimize costs to CMS. We do this through HCD and Service design practices, product thinking, and skilled engineering. As a Product Manager I:

Bellese Technologies is looking for an experienced Product Manager 1 to support delivery and evolving product strategy on one of our distributed teams that support a federal agency client.

As a Product Manager at Bellese, you are a trusted, emerging leader — growing your technical product competencies, deepening your consulting instincts, and developing the cross-functional and stakeholder skills that define high-performing PMs in our environment. With the support of your manager and more senior peers, you contribute meaningfully to product direction on your workstream, build relationships with clients and team members, and take increasing ownership of discovery, requirements, and delivery outcomes over time.

The ideal candidate brings 2 or more years of product management experience in a cross-functional agile environment, ideally in the public sector, professional services, or a highly regulated industry. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of 2+ years applicable related experience managing scrum teams

• Experience as a Scrum Master within a software development environment

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; residing in the United States

• Knowledge of agile frameworks and principles and the ability to coach and mentor peers as needed

• Knowledge of the requirements management cycle with excellence in defining, writing and testing requirements, acceptance criteria and definition of done

• Relationship building skills in large, complex stakeholder environments

• Communication skills across business, technical and creative stakeholders

• Proven ability driving progress in ambiguous environments

• Prior experience in a client-facing consulting or contracting role

• Management of complex systems and lower environments

• Identify risks and implement mitigation techniques in a timely manner

• Serve as a trusted partner and advise customers on team’s product vision and roadmap

• Experience deriving accurate business value to stakeholders and managing tradeoffs
