About the role

We are looking for an Event Technology Specialist to lead the end-to-end delivery of event technology solutions, primarily for pharmaceutical clients. Working within our scalable event technology team, this role combines hands-on platform expertise with strong client partnership and ownership of complex event deliveries. You will supportin-person, hybrid and virtual events, while also helping to improve our tools, processes and ways of working. This is an exciting opportunity to work onhigh-profile, global pharmaceutical eventsand take ownership ofcomplex event technology deliveries. You will be part of aspecialist, collaborative technology team, with the chance to influence how technology is used and developed across the business. The role offers exposure to awide range of clients, event formats and platforms, within afast-growing environmentthat supports learning, development and continuous improvement.

As an Event Technology Specialist , you will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of event technology solutionsacross multiple client projects, primarily within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Manage the full event technology lifecycle, including pre-event build, live event delivery, and post-event reporting.
  • Build and deliver event technology solutionssuch as registration websites, registration journeys, event apps, and webinar platforms using client or BCD systems.
  • Act as the main technology contact for clients, ensuring solutions are delivered to a high standard of quality, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Support complex or bespoke technology buildsin collaboration with the Senior Event Technology Manager and provide onsite support when required.
  • Work closely with account managers, operations teams, and wider BCD teamsto deliver solutions aligned with client objectives and support new client on-boarding.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in core event technology platforms, primarily Cvent, while contributing to proposals, presentations, training, and solution development.
  • Drive continuous improvementby reviewing project outcomes, tracking engagement metrics, improving templates and processes, supporting RD, and staying current with industry and platform updates.

  • Managing multiple projects and prioritiesin a fast-paced environment.
  • Using data and insightto support decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Presenting information clearlyand delivering training with confidence.
  • Learning new technologies quickly, with a curious, proactive approach.

You might also have:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical meetings is an advantage
  • Bachelors degree

You should know:

  • This is a UK Remote role
  • Our standard working hours are 09.00 - 17.30 with an hour break
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
