We are Aveni, an Edinburgh-based fintech company that builds AI specifically for UK financial services. Our mission is to close the trust gap between general AI and financial services by providing the standards, transparency, and assurance that make regulated deployment not just possible, but scalable.

As the company behind FinLLM, the UK's first large language model purpose-built for financial services, we combine globally-recognised AI expertise with extensive financial services experience. We create large language models and AI products designed specifically for the financial services industry, operating as a vertically-aligned AI platform.

We serve over 250 banks, advice networks, wealth managers and compliance providers across the UK, with our AI platform trusted by leading institutions including Lloyds Banking Group and Nationwide. Our team brings together experts in AI, regulation and financial services to solve some of the hardest problems in the industry, with 70 employees including 22 different nationalities and 15+ PhD recipients. The result is technology that doesn't just innovate - it works in the real world, at scale, and under scrutiny.
