We are seeking a talented and experienced Pricing Specialist to join AUTODOC's dynamic pricing team. As a key contributor, you will report directly to the Manager Pricing Engine & Systems and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Category Management and Marketing, to drive pricing system excellence and maximize our systems to drive customer value. Finally, you will also define the product roadmap for the pricing systems, working with product managers and software engineers to design and build key features and internal products.
Responsibilities:
You will collaborate with Pricing experts, analysts, tech and stakeholders to develop and execute the pricing systems strategy and roadmap
You will and manage the optimization of pricing systems to enable effective pricing strategies to maximize profitable growth
You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of algorithmic solutions for pricing optimization
You will utilize data-driven insights to evaluate pricing performance and identify opportunities for improvement, including cannibalization analysis and market trends assessment
You will contribute to the design and enhancement of processes, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to monitor pricing effectiveness and support informed decision-making
You will collaborate closely with tech teams to translate pricing strategies into technical requirements, participate in the development of pricing systems features, and ensure successful implementation
You will stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to pricing systems and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications (Essential)
Graduate or higher degree in a business and/or quantitative field (e.g. business, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science)
5+ years pricing/commercial experience in retail, ecommerce or consumer goods – directly or in a consulting role
2+ years work with analytics or AI - Experience developing and implementing ML models
Experience in data analysis and visualization
Demonstrated experience in managing pricing systems and working with technical teams to implement feature roadmaps
Clear and concise verbal and written communication
Advanced SQL capabilities
Ability to steer stakeholder effectively - both with and without direct authority – and find trade-offs between scope and development time.
Ownership – thinks and acts like an owner
Qualifications (Desired)
Expert SQL/Python skills
Certified Process Management experience is preferred.
