THE ROLE

AG1 is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Product (Contract) to join our team as a contractor for 6 months and collaborate closely with the Director, Technical Product in delivering high-quality digital products that align with our business objectives focused on our Customer Experience. As a TPM contractor, you will work alongside other TPMs to develop and own technical product roadmaps. You will support cross-functional teams, foster collaboration with business product managers, and play a pivotal role in driving the technical product strategy from ideation to launch. By partnering with engineering, design, and Marketing and Customer Happiness PMs, you will define and deliver innovative solutions that address our customers' needs. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of customer-centric product development, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for driving customer satisfaction.

This is a 6-month long contractor engagement and is 100% remote.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and own the technical product roadmap in partnership with business product managers focusing on retention and customer happiness.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive the technical product strategy from ideation to launch.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to deliver high-quality digital products aligned with business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the UX/UI team to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to drive effective technical product delivery.
  • Foster collaboration with business product managers and business leaders to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  • Partner with engineering and design teams to define and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Utilize a strong technical background and project management skills to drive impactful product development.
  • Stay close to industry trends and emerging technologies to leverage in product development.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product development and prioritize customer needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring effective technical product delivery.
  • Apply technology expertise to guide decision-making and drive technical excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize technical product development processes.
  • Demonstrate a passion for building impactful products using technology.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to drive innovation and differentiation.
  • Foster relationships with vendors to support product development and integrations.
  • Advocate for the technical product strategy, seeking buy-in and support from stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of business impact and outcomes, measuring technical product performance.
  • Collaborate with data analytics teams to analyze product performance and drive improvements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, with a focus on leading the development of software products.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working with technology, including experience in software development, technical product management, or related roles.
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering and scaling digital products.
  • Experience in customer happiness platforms, and customer journey mapping.
  • Expertise in retention strategies and techniques to drive customer loyalty and engagement.
  • Engineering, architecture, and/or coding experience, including headless e-commerce architectures and platforms.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and subscription platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and proficiency in using Agile tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience with APIs, data analytics, and customer feedback tools.
  • Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis techniques in the customer experience space.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, technical leads, and business stakeholders.
