Sales Manager (Local Government Solutions) – Remote – Australia

We are hiring at Azility for a Sales Manager to join our growing team!

About The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving Azility’s growth strategy, focusing on expanding our customer base, enhancing customer satisfaction, and exploring new market opportunities.

We are hiring at Azility for the first person on the Sales Team to increase our sales and establish sales strategies! We currently have around 12 full-time employees and are looking to expand our growth.

The selected candidate will be based in Australia, working remotely from home. Ideally, the candidate will also be in the New South Wales, Australia (UTC+10) time zone.

What your day will look like:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and key results.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the LGA sector and other verticals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Lead and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including participating in tenders and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and report on sales activities and results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Support the customer service improvement program to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, preferably within the utilities or sustainability sector.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and develop solutions that align with their goals.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in developing and executing business strategies that contribute to overall company objectives.
  • Expertise in public tenders and government contracts, with a demonstrated ability to navigate and succeed in these environments.
  • Experience in the sustainability sector is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
