Buink Web Development is a development shop founded in 2009 by Ben Buie. For years, Ben built and modified web assets for clients in Utah. In 2011, he moved the company to Colorado and in 2015 he started taking on new clients full-time.

Buink specializes in the creation and maintenance of web and mobile applications that support our client’s business strategy. Our focus is JavaScript (for web and mobile) and we also have a solid background in PHP.

Buink’s founder, Ben Buie, started developing websites in 2006 when he taught himself to code while building MyNiceTie. Over the years he has continued to learn while building many other web assets for clients including Reebok, Sherwin Williams, Brunton, Winter Park, and others as well as for his own startups.

Buink’s founder, Ben Buie, has always had a passion for finding opportunities. This passion led him to study entrepreneurship at BYU where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

He went on to building business systems for Payless Shoesorce and then get an MBA from CU-Boulder where he again focused on entrepreneurship.

Recently, as Managing Director of VOLTAGE, Ben implemented a business system that helped the company achieve 30% profitability.

To-date, he has founded or co-founded 5 companies, the most notable being MyNiceTie, the most watched necktie channel on YouTube with over 47 million views, and Spark Boulder, the first space for student startups at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
