ARA is seeking a dynamic Training & Development Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our workforce.   • What you’ll do as a Training & Development Specialist
    • Partner with our Human Resources Director and Leadership Training Specialist in the development of ARA’s overall training program; monitor and maintain various initiatives on an ongoing basis.
    • Work with internal SMEs and training development staff to administer ARA 101 course development, tracking and publication.
    • Oversee development and maintenance of training manuals, documents, and other supporting materials.
    • Partner and collaborate with managers to meet training needs by sector, division, group, or employee as needed.
    • Work with HR Team to support training needs in various HR focus areas such as benefits, compliance, compensation, HRIS, etc.
    • Coordinate internal training classes including new hire programs, policy and compliance training working with corporate departments to update and administer annual compliance training.
    • Develop and coordinate the communication, promotion and tracking of ARA training programs and outside vendor training solutions such as LinkedIn Learning, National Seminars Group (NSG) and American Management Association (AMA).
    • Research and evaluate training courses for ARA and administer RFPs for outside training services.
    • Identify, recommend, and implement training through various vendors and manage vendor relationships as needed.
    • Assist with planning and coordination of training at annual meetings, and other company sponsored events as needed.
    • Work with Training Team to administer training tracking in Cornerstone (set up, enter, track, and report out on training).
    • Recommend and assist in development of training-related policy revisions, processes, and procedures.
    • Deliver training to a variety of adult audiences as needed.
    • Collaborate on and/or lead special projects as needed.
  • Training & Development Specialist Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
    • Five to seven years relevant experience, which includes training development, administration, and/or organizational development experience.
    • Solid networking and research abilities.
    • Demonstrated success implementing training programs in a corporate environment.
    • Must be customer service focused and have excellent time management and project management skills.
    • Must be proactive, well organized, and have ability to prioritize work.
    • Requires ability to
      • communicate exceptionally well (both verbal and written)
      • work collaboratively with team members, and on an individual basis with minimal supervision,
      • build relationships and offer solutions through creativity and flexibility, and
      • research and analyze various types of data and information.
    • Intermediate skill level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Experience with and ability to effectively work in HR Information Systems.
    • Experience with and ability to effectively develop and deliver quality presentations and trainings to small and large groups.
  • Training & Development Specialist Preferences
    • Knowledge of/experience with Cornerstone, training software .
    • Knowledge of/experience with UKG, HRIS software.
    • Experience working for government contractors.
