United States onlyAnalytica is seeking a Business Intelligence Principal to support data and analytics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, enterprise cloud or on-premises software and technology projects. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data analysis requirements and translate them into effective dashboards and reports.
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure its accuracy and usability for analysis in Power BI or Graph.
Implement data models and calculations to enable efficient data exploration and analysis.
Optimize dashboards and reports for performance and responsiveness.
Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to ensure seamless data integration and quality assurance.
Participate in data governance activities to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Document Power BI development processes, data models, and technical specifications.
Provide technical inputs to agile processes, such as epic, story, and task definition to resolve issues and remove barriers throughout the lifecycle of client engagements
Mentor, help and grow junior team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or any other quantitative field.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience with developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI, Tableau or other similar tools.
Demonstrated SQL development experience by writing queries and procedures and using functions to create curated data for use in reporting.
Ability to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI or Tableau.
Exposure to Tableau, Databricks, SAS and/or Graph
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with a wide range of audiences and maintain interpersonal relationships.
Ability to work within time constraints and manage multiple tasks against critical deadlines.
