Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and standard regression testing as part of Agile/Scrum software development
- Investigate problems in the software discovered in testing
- Work with quality assurance (QA), software developers, and DOEHRS-IH subject matter experts to find solutions
- Develop Test Plans and Test Reports
- Coordinate and communicate with QA/Test Team and DOEHRS-IH Stakeholders
- Participate in scrum meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience
- Three years of DOEHRS-IH experience
- Experience testing computer applications and preparing Test Plans and Test Reports
- Experience working with cross-functional project teams using Agile/Scrum methodology
- Familiarity with Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Protection work
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a remote work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools
- Must be a U.S. citizen and a Public Trust Tier 1 required
