Senior Software Engineer

The Role:

We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Software Engineer to elevate Alternative Payments by delivering high-quality solutions, mentoring junior talent, and driving complex feature development. In this fully remote role, you'll work independently on diverse tasks—from minor fixes to major features—while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform remains at the forefront of the payments industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Project Ownership: Lead technical initiatives and projects from inception to delivery, ensuring high standards of quality and scalability while working with Golang and React/Next.js.

• Independent Development: Tackle a diverse range of tasks—from small bug fixes to complex feature development—independently, regardless of project complexity.

• Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and QA to define project requirements and design robust software architectures.

• Mentorship & Team Development: Provide guidance and support to junior and mid-level team members, fostering their professional growth through active mentorship and constructive code reviews.

• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency, and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive best practices within the team.

What You Will Bring

• Extensive Software Development Experience: A proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and handling any task or project independently.

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Golang and React/Next.js, coupled with a strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.

• Leadership & Mentoring Skills: Experience in guiding and mentoring junior and mid-level developers, with a focus on driving technical initiatives and team performance.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to tackle challenging technical issues.
