Job Description

Team Leader at Allegro is a person who leads development teams with whom he creates new, ambitious and complex projects.
We provide new tools for developers and build systems for CX department. Furthermore, we build AI assistants and automate the work of other employees based on new technology like Machine Learning and LLMs.

We are looking for people who

  • Can and want to take care of their team development, have very good communication skills and value the "servant leadership" approach

  • Have the ability to manage and build relationships in a team

  • Are not afraid to make difficult decisions

  • Can listen, motivate and provide constructive feedback as well as select adequate development activities for their team

  • Are seasoned experts in software development and system architecture

  • Have experience in leading teams working with the use of "agile" methodologies

  • Can look for effective solutions to the requirements of our users

  • Can work closely with business, they can reconcile technical and business issues

  • Can present the necessary technical work in the context of business risks

  • Are fluent in JVM technologies and want to learn new ones

  • Have a knowledge of using new technologies like LLMs and and experience with building prompts

  • Frontend technologies are not unfamiliar (ex. React)

  • Expect work that has a deeper meaning (not only the "management has commissioned") and want to enjoy its results

  • Want to be proud of the code they create. They willingly accept comments and share knowledge during code reviews

  • Want to constantly develop and update their knowledge

  • Know English at B2 level
