Air Apps began its journey in 2017, founded in Lisbon, Portugal by Filipe F. What started as a vision to simplify people's lives through mobile technology has blossomed into a rapidly growing, independent global mobile app studio. Initially focusing on the iOS platform, Air Apps quickly made a name for itself by developing a diverse portfolio of utility, coloring, and fitness apps. Their mission from the outset was to seamlessly integrate into users' lives, much like air itself, by providing tools to overcome obstacles and achieve goals. This philosophy extended not only to their users but also to their internal team, fostering a do-your-own-thing work environment.

By 2018, the company had already begun to see significant traction, a testament to their commitment to creating innovative and quality applications. This early success allowed Air Apps to remain self-funded while expanding its reach globally. The company embraced a fully remote work model, attracting a culturally diverse team working from various locations around the world. This remote-first approach became a cornerstone of their identity, emphasizing flexibility, freedom, and a passion for travel and fun alongside their dedication to app development. Over the years, Air Apps has consistently grown, now boasting over 30 mobile apps on the App Store and achieving an impressive 3 million downloads per month. Their portfolio has expanded to include apps in Fitness, Productivity, Creative, and Learning categories, with popular titles like Translate Now and Calculator Air leading the charge. With over 100 million downloads worldwide and consistently high user ratings, Air Apps has solidified its position as a leader in creating innovative utility and productivity solutions. Looking towards the future, Air Apps is focused on an AI-first approach, aiming to create the world's first AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner (PRP) and continuing to shape the future of mobile technology.
