Agilent supports scientists planning and execute laboratory relocation from deinstallation to reinstallation, and post-move services including compliance workflows, improving scientific continuity.

The Project Management Office is looking for a motivated Project Manager to lead asset management and laboratory relocation projects for scientific equipment. In this role, you'll ensure precise planning and seamless execution to minimize disruptions to ongoing operations, all tailored to meet the needs of a key customer.
You'll work cross-functionally across divisions, fostering collaboration and delivering outstanding project results. Your insights will help us continuously improve our project management practices, driving innovation and excellence.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Leading and participating in both remote and onsite relocation activities at assigned customer sites, overseeing all related project activities such as laboratory productivity, inventory services, asset loading, and service level delivery.
  • Managing and maintaining complex project data-including laboratory instruments, financials, timelines, and customer specifications-using tools such as Excel and Smartsheet, while ensuring data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Building and maintaining strong, cross-functional relationships and open communication with clients, vendors, and internal/external project team members (both domestically and internationally) to support effective project delivery.
  • Coordinating with third-party vendors and internal teams to obtain quotes, process invoices, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of services for assigned customers.
  • Providing general project support, including financial reconciliation and other responsibilities as required.

This role is fully remote within France, but we also welcome candidates who would prefer a hybrid model and work from our offices in Les Ulis, near Paris.

Qualifications

We are seeking a motivated individual with the following qualifications:

  • Ideally, a university degree in Life Sciences (or equivalent compensating experience)
  • Project management qualification or proven experience in managing complex project deployments
  • Lean Six Sigma or PMPbackground/certification is a strong advantage
  • Good knowledge of laboratory environments and workflows
  • Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is a strong plus
  • Experience in service delivery functions or as a consultant is a strong advantage
  • Fluency in both English and French

You show a real can-do attitude, resilience and you like to solve problems. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning, organizational and time management skills, ability to manage concurrent priorities, and attention to details.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
