The Opportunity: The Senior Director (“SD”) of Order Management is responsible for (1) order management, (2) deal desk operations, and (3) sales compensation calculations. The SD will interact regularly and partner with cross-functional executives and vendor partners. Additionally, the SD will contribute to the success of the Company’s Quote-to-Cash transformation program.
What you’ll do:
- Provide leadership and manage the activities of direct reports in the areas of order management, deal desk and sales compensation
- Establish processes and governance to ensure all sales orders are properly set up in the Company’s systems to ensure proper service delivery, billing, revenue recognition, and reporting
- Close/Win opportunities in Salesforce.com
- Implement and lead a Deal Desk for review of large; non-standard deals to ensure proper approvals prior to signing customer contracts
- Perform monthly calculations of sales commissions, ensuring proper reviews and approvals
- Maintain and evolve sales compensation system (CaptivateIQ)
- Play active role in the design, build, test and deployment of the Company’s Quote-to-Cash platform
- Liaise with Partnerships and Alliances team to support arrangements with third parties
- Lead and develop a high performing global team
- Manage departmental budget and monthly forecasts
To Qualify for the role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field, or relevant experience
- Proven experience as a senior leader, ideally in a similar industry
- Proven experience in a private equity backed portfolio company
- Strong domain expertise in Salesforce.com
- Proven leadership of a geographically dispersed team of professionals
- Excellent relationship management skills and adept at collaborating across functional lines
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to prioritize effectively and very adaptable to change
- Results oriented and proven record of delivering key business outcomes
