Job Title: Payroll and Benefits Administrator
Location: Fully Remote, Philippines/South Africa
Rate: $7.00 - $11.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time

Job Description:
As a Payroll and Benefits Administrator, you will focus on payroll processing, benefits management, payroll compliance, payroll systems administration, employee support, and payroll data management.
Requirements:
Proven experience processing payroll for multiple employees or departments
Hands-on experience with ADP, Rippling, Payworks, QuickBooks, and/or Employment Hero
Strong understanding of payroll procedures, deductions, and benefits administration
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
Ability to handle confidential information securely and professionally
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general administrative systems
Preferences:
Experience supporting Canadian, U.S., or international payroll processes
Familiarity with employment standards and payroll compliance regulations
Previous experience in HR administration or employee onboarding support
Experience working in remote or outsourced team environments
Knowledge of accounting reconciliation processes
Payroll certification or bookkeeping/accounting background
Experience managing benefits vendors and provider communications
Ability to identify and proactively resolve payroll discrepancies
Responsibilities:
Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
Manage payroll records, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and adjustments
Administer employee benefits including enrollments, removals, and profile updates
Reconcile benefits invoices and ensure billing accuracy
Submit and track employee benefit change requests with providers
Maintain payroll and benefits data across ADP, Rippling, Payworks, QuickBooks, and Employment Hero
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, internal policies, and confidentiality standards

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:
A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
