Job Description:
As a Competitive Strategy Manager for AI Governance and Security, you will be in charge of senior competitive intelligence and strategy role focused on AI governance, AI security, GRC, and agentic AI. Owns competitive strategy, market intelligence, GTM competitive assets, and cross-functional collaboration with Research, Product, Sales, and Advisory teams to support enterprise positioning and win rates.
Requirements:
5–10 years of experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, market strategy, or technical marketing, preferably within AI governance, AI security, GRC and enterprise risk, MLOps or AI infrastructure, or cloud security and enterprise SaaS.
Deep understanding of LLMs, copilots, autonomous AI agents, agent orchestration frameworks, AI risk controls and governance workflows, and enterprise compliance frameworks including ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, and the EU AI Act.
Demonstrated ability to partner with research or technical teams to validate complex claims.
Proven capability in crafting competitive assets and enabling Sales, Advisory, and Partnerships teams.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills that are technical and executive-ready.
Strong analytical rigor, ownership, discipline, and comfort with ambiguity.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Research, Advisory, and Sales teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience across AI governance platforms, AI security tools, GRC and risk/compliance systems, MLOps or ModelOps platforms, agent orchestration frameworks, and enterprise SaaS environments.
Experience onboarding and managing competitive intelligence tools such as Crayon or Klue.
Experience contributing to analyst evaluations including Forrester, Gartner, IDC, or Everest.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a real-time view of the competitive landscape across AI governance, GRC, AI security, MLOps, and agent orchestration platforms
Analyze competitor launches, pricing, sales motions, technical claims, roadmap signals, and ecosystem partnerships
Publish weekly competitive insights, monthly strategic deep dives, and quarterly competitive analyses
Create battlecards, kill sheets, objection-handling guides, competitive briefs, and executive narratives
Develop persona-specific competitive positioning for security, AI, risk, compliance, and data leaders
Partner with Sales, SDR, Advisory, and Partnerships teams to support competitive deal cycles
Onboard and manage competitive intelligence tools and enable field teams on insights
Collaborate closely with the Research team to validate competitive claims with technical rigor
Pressure-test differentiation across AI governance, shadow AI, model lifecycle governance, runtime risk, and regulatory compliance
Co-create technical teardowns and competitive benchmarks with Research
Build and refine competitive positioning and category
narratives in AI governance and agentic AI
Support analyst evaluations with competitive insightsAnalyze win/loss drivers and deliver actionable insights to Sales, Product, GTM leadership, and RevOps
Produce competitive comparison content and thought leadership materials
Serve as an internal expert on competitor capabilities and market shifts

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:
A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
